Our Mission 

Part of the Change is a youth-centered organization dedicated to empowering young people through art-based programming, leadership development, and financial literacy. Created from a commitment to bridge the gap in support for youth navigating challenging life transitions, the organization focuses on providing the guidance, tools, and encouragement young people need before life’s obstacles limit their potential.

Since its inception, Part of the Change has been fully self-funded, reflecting the deep dedication and belief in the mission. As the program continues to grow, the organization is now preparing for expansion to better serve mentees transitioning out of placement and to broaden its impact across the community.

The initiative is active in justice reform conversations and events, advocating for equitable support systems and standing alongside youth affected by systemic gaps. Through creativity, mentorship, and practical education, Part of the Change remains committed to uplifting young people and helping them build paths toward stability, confidence, and long-term success.
